"Chili-Billy"
Ingredients:
2 large handfuls of restaurant style tortilla chips
1 Cup Chili
1 Cup Cheddar Cheese
¼ cup Jalapeno Spread with Red Bell Peppers, Onions and Spices
Directions:
1. Place two large handfuls of chips on a microwave friendly plate.
2. Pour chili over chips, sprinkle with cheese and Jalapeno spread.
3. Microwave 1-½ minutes and serve. Rollups
Jalapeno Spread Cheesy Rollups
Ingredients:
1 Cup sour cream
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
½ jar (8-ounces) Jalapeno Spread with Red Bell Pepper, Onions and Spices
½ Cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
8 10-inch flour tortillas
Directions:
1. In a medium mixing bowl mix sour cream, cream cheese, Jalapeno Spread and cheddar cheese.
2. Spread a thin layer of the mixture on each tortilla. Gently roll the tortillas into tight tubes.
3. Place the Jalapeno Spread Cheesy Rollups onto a dish, wrap with saran wrap, and chill for at least one hour.
4. To serve, slice into 1-inch slices, serve slices on their side. Nachos!
"Texas Straw Hats"
Ingredients:
1 Pound ground beef
1 Onion, finely diced
salt and pepper to taste
1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
1 (15 ounce) bag Frito Lay Fritos king size corn chips
4 Cups Cheddar Cheese
1 (16 ounce) jar Jalapeno Spread with Red Bell Pepper, Onions and Spices
Directions:
1. In large frying pan, brown beef with onion, salt and pepper over medium heat. Break meat into small pieces. After the meat is thoroughly cooked, drain off the fat.
2. In a small sauce pan, heat refried beans with ¼ cup water over medium heat.
3. Take two handfuls of chips and arrange them on a microwave friendly plate. Spread ½ cup beans over the Fritos. Spread ½ cup of cheese over the beans. Spread ½ cup meat over the cheese, top with ½ cup cheese.
4. Spread ¼ cup Jalapeno Spread over the cheese, microwave on high for 1 ½ minutes, and serve. Chicken Dinner
Jalapeno Spread Baked Chicken
Ingredients:
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
4 teaspoons taco seasoning mix
1 cup Salsa
½ cup Jalapeno Spread with Red Bell Pepper, Onions and Spices
1-½ cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
2 tablespoons sour cream (optional)
2 tablespoons guacamole (optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
2. Place chicken breast in a lightly greased 9x9 baking dish
3. Sprinkle taco seasoning on both sides of the chicken breasts,; pour the salsa and the Jalapeno Spread on top.
4. Bake for 40 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
5. Sprinkle chicken evenly with cheese, and continue baking for another 5 minutes. Top with sour cream, guacamole and serve. Taco Pie
Jalapeno Spread Taco Pie
Ingredients:
1 Pound ground beef
1 Onion, finely diced
salt and pepper to taste
1 package taco seasoning mix (following directions on package)
1 cup Jalapeno Spread with Red Bell Pepper, Onions and Spices
1 package Taco Shells (12 or more)
4 Cups Cheddar cheese
1 Cup tomatoes, diced
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
2. In large frying pan, brown beef with onion, salt and pepper over medium heat. Break meat into small pieces. After the meat is thoroughly cooked, drain off the fat.
3. Stir in water with taco seasoning mix. Simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
4. Add Jalapeno spread to meat, mix well.
5. Break taco shells into halves and layer half of them on a lightly greased 9x13-baking dish. Spoon half of meat mixture over taco shells, and sprinkle with 2 cups cheese. Repeat with taco shells, meat and cheese.
6. Bake for 25 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with tomatoes and serve.
